I journeyed to Amelia's house today, to exchange presents and of course catch up properly. Theres only so much you can say on the phone and a limited amount on msn or fb.
I think she was pleased with the presents I gave her. Two paintings of her in her prom dress, plus another two abtractish paintings of boats. Also a leather jacket. The leather jacket of course went down extremely well. She loved it. Which made me feel chuffed.
She had got me, some smellys, oil pastels and an amazing book full of poems by famous poets. So happy with that!!
Went for a nice (cold) walk to Gilly beach. The sea looked beautiful. Chatted about Jamie/Hope/Relationships/bad relationships/old times/ Maddie sniffing other dogs bums, the normal stuff etc, and walked to the cafe to have a yummy hot chocolate with marshmallows and cream on (yes be jealous) :P
Once back at hers watched Lord of the Rings 2nd one with munchies. My god its hard work watching a film with her. She has to code name everyone, she cant understand the characters if she doesn't so from the one film we've got: Lacelot, Bill Bailey, Snape, Skunk, Dumbledore, Evil Dumbledore, Arrow guy, Elf lady, Salena, Matt, you, Jamie, me, Robin hood, and Gwenivere. I'll leave it to you to guess who these people are in the film. *face palm*
I find that me and Amelia get much more in unison in our thoughts and actions, the more time we spend with each other. Its kind of creepy and yet it makes me extremely happy that we are so.
It has been a good day.
Shall be getting up to watch the lunar eclipse tomorrow morning!
