The mind opened, slightly held you within its palm.
Its reasons became resolute, uncertain but reasons they were.
Disappear went the purpose of your many illusions.
They were unimportant when opposed by those of reality.
Crashing down bolder by bolder as each fell in to the steep
vast ocean below.
The quickened heat drowned out the noise, for certain the
moment had passed.
Leaving you with nothing but a deep ache within ribs
a drowsiness between eyes yet the sharp pain of numbness
sweeping across your already drowned body.
Till the ripples of skin
became
quiet.
