London with my Amelia

On the 5th of July to the 8th me and my Amelia went to London!! I paid for west end tickets to see Wicked the Musical as her 18th very late birthday present. :)
The first day we travelled up there, the tube was really scary but once we got on the right train to Woking all seemed peachy. There was an American guy talking about history to a man from Woking then later they included us into the conversation to then include a lady sitting across from us and another man sitting beside us on another seat section. It was so lovely and random that I think it made us both feel so much better about being in such a huge City :)
The Second day we went to Oxford street, both of us spent waaaay too much. Probably me more than Amelia :P Bought dresses and tops and skirts. It was a good day :P We then got lost trying to find the British Museum. Once we found it however it was amazing. Seeing all of that history right in front of you..breathtaking. Amelia especially wanted to see the Greek history and statues.  We also saw the roman mosaics, the Egyptian mummies...there was a goth staring at them as well which we found amusing. As well as the Easter Island Statue. We then went shopping for gifts for our people back home.
On the Saturday Collin who we were staying with gave us a guided tour around London. Really good, walked around Westminster Abby, the London Eye, Parliament, Downing Street, Buckingham Place till we finally found our way to the Apollo Victoria to go and see Wicked!
IT WAS FANTASTIC! Three times we couldn't see what was going on but that wasn't at important parts. The rest of the time we had really good seats and it was just epic! There was a massive dragon that moved, glowed and had smoke. XD XD XD There was also that guy from Busted in it as well so we were like yay!!!
The last day we walked around Chobam village where we were staying and then got on the tube to Paddington and from there to Truro. By then we were pros at the tube :D

It was a really good trip overall and I would love to do all of it again with my Amelia but with perhaps a week to kill instead of a couple of days. :)
