Uni so far :)

Travelled up on the Friday, took 6 hours really tiring. Got to Derby city at about half 2/3ish which wasn't bad. Booked into the hotel and had a wander around the city. The buildings are brilliant, some look really beautiful. All red brick. Theres a river with lots of ducks and Canadian geese in which is always good in my eyes :)
Saturday me and my Auntie left the hotel and walked to the University. We walked through this MASSIVE (and when I say massive I mean it) park. It had a lake, rivers, fields, a cafe and gardens, and a playing area for small people. Lots of ducks, geese and squirrels. I think I will be walking through that park to get to Uni everyday. It almost felt like home.
Registered with the Uni, got my halls form and registered with a doctor. Walked back to the hotel and drove to Agard Street which is where my halls is.
I chose by far the best halls. My room is huge compared to the one me,Mia and Creedy saw when we looked in at Nunnery Court. We have two bathrooms, a kitchen/ sitting down area, and Im sharing with five other people.
They are all really nice. Theres James Foo fighters guy, first thing he practically said to me was that he liked Foo Fighters, I'm like okay then :) He plays guitar, says he'll teach me how to play my banjo. He seems pretty cool, and I think I'll get on with him fine.
Then there's Luke who's very tall, a nice guy, seems pretty decent. I haven't had a full on convosation with him but obviously at some point we shall.
Then there's another James - hes majorally camp. I swear to god he's gay and doesnt know it yet. Really nice, quite full on but nice enough :)
There's Jess who also is really friendly, I don't think I would pick her out to be like a close friend, but shes chatty so that's the main thing.
Finally there's Laura who is going to arrive today. Felt really bad for her as she missed the Freshers party last night. Talking of which it was sooo good. There is a huge bar and stage in the Uni, the music was a bit shit, but to be honest when your a little bit tipsy and just want to dance you don't care so much. Met some more nice people,  three Jakes/Jacobs/ a Nick and a Josh and a girl called Robin. We also met two of James (camp James) friends Kerren and David. David seems really lovely but Kerren I reckon could be a bit of a dick. But he did help me put my ezal together so.. :)
Me, James (Foo fighters) and Jess walked home, we lost Camp James, and Luke but once we got back to the flat they were already there so it all worked out in the end. Had a cup of tea and went to sleep at 4 in the morning. Completely knackered but it was a good night :D
